Mitch Boggs P STL Mitch went 9-3 in Memphis (PCL, AAA) in 21 starts, posting a 3.45 ERA and striking out 81 batters across 125.1 innings. Mitch also got a few starts with St. Louis and went 3-2 with a 7.41 ERA.

Ryan Feierabend P SEA Ryan was injured while in Tacoma (PCL, AAA) but posted a 7-1 record with a 2.04 ERA over 13 starts. He also got 8 starts with Seattle late in the season and went 1-4 with a 7.71 ERA.

Max Ramirez C TEX Max made the jump from Frisco (Tex, AA) to the bigs in 2008 after hitting .354/.450/.646 with the Roughriders. In Texas, he only amassed 46 at-bats, hitting .217 but finished with a .715. He was reassigned to Oklahoma (PCL, AAA) and was injured in his first game.

Drafted in the 2nd round of the 2008 Farm Draft.

Chris Carter 1B OAK Chris continued a quick rise to the top of the prospect lists as he mashed 39 homers in Stockton (Cal, High A). He did strike out 156 times, but did draw 77 walks which fits with his overall profile of being a big-time slugger.

Gorkys Hernandez OF ATL Gorkys spent 2008 in Myrtle Beach (Car, A) and hit .264/.348/.387 over 100 games. He stole 20 bags in addition to drawing 48 walks.

Matt Sulentic OF OAK Matt spent 2008 trying to regain his prospect status and did so by hitting .309 while spending the season in Stockton (Cal, High A). He managed 37 XBH over 343 ABs and had an .849 OPS.

Blake Beavan P TEX At 6' 7"., 2008 marked Blake's professional debut after being a highly ranked draft pick for Texas. He was assigned to Clinton (Mid, A) and over 23 starts went 10-6 with a 2.37 ERA. He only struck out 73 batters in 121 innings, but he also only walked 20.

Gerrit Cole P NYY Cole was drafted in the first round by the Yankees out of high school, but did not sign. Instead, he'll attend UCLA.

Jordan Danks OF CWS Jordan was a 7th round selection by the White Sox, despite being a highly touted sophomore in 2007. It took a decent bonus from the Sox to get Jordan to sign, but he did end up making a brief 10-game appearance in Kannapolis (Sal, A). He hit .325 and clubbed 7 XBH including 2 HRs. He also got an invite to the Arizona Fall League.

Conor Gillaspie 3B SF Conor was a supplemental 1st round selection by the Giants after putting up big numbers at Witchita State. He ended up seeing time with the big club in September after appear in just 24 games combined with the Giants' Arizona League team and Salem-Keizer (NWL, SS A). He only hit .269/.352/344 in the minors, which makes the Giants' decision to bring him look out of place.

Kasey Kiker P TEX Kasey was promoted to Bakersfield (Cal, High A) after a successful 2007 campaign and stumbled a bit. In 21 starts, Kasey went 5-5 with a 4.73 ERA, but he did strike out 111 hitters in 121 innings. He was hittable as he gave up 138 knocks and walked 37.

Ryan Perry P DET Ryan, a junior at Arizona, was drafted in the 1st round by the Tigers. Ryan got a brief introduction to pro ball with 13.2 innings of relief work. He struck out 16 batters over that span and racked up four saves in Lakeland (FSL, High A). Ryan figured to move fast as a flame-throwing RP.

Jordan Zimmermann P WAS After a successful debut in '07, Jordan continued to impress the Nationals minor league organization as he dominated in four starts with Potomac (Car, A), going 3-1 with a 1.65 ERA, before being promoted to Harrisburg (EL, AA). Once there, Jordan continued to impress with a 3.21 ERA and a 7-2 record in 20 starts and struck out 103 in 107 innings. Overall, he averaged 9 K/IP and held opponents to a .215 average.

Drafted in the 3rd round of the 2008 Farm Draft.
